phD student under the CIFRE program on a research project between the UTCBS Vector team and the Neovacs company.
Biography: Holder of an engineering degree in biomedical and health engineering.
Her research project aims to develop and evaluate new formulations for the delivery of mRNA targeting self-proteins, especially the cytokine IL-17, overexpressed in psoriasis. mRNA-lipid nanoparticles based drug product represent a promising solution for the targeting of self-proteins and thus for the treatment of various chronic inflammatory pathologies.
The thesis project consists in formulating and characterizing the new UTCBS lipids at UTCBSand evaluating these new formulations through cellular and in vivo studies in small animals at Neovacs.
Research topics: nanomedicine, mRNA vaccines, lipid nanoparticles, in vivo biodistribution, autoimmune disease.
