Biography: After completing a bachelor’s degree in Life and Earth Sciences at the Lebanese University in Beirut, she pursued a master’s degree in Genetics and Genomics Biotechnology at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale in Brest. She then undertook doctoral research in pharmaceutical sciences at the Université de Lorraine. Her PhD work focused on developing inhalable hybrid nanomedicines for the treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). She designed hybrid lipid nanoparticles for the co-delivery of budesonide and anti-inflammatory siRNA, combining nanoparticle formulation, nucleic acid complexation and pulmonary drug delivery. She joined the Vectors team at UTCBS as an ATER in September 2026.
